Here is an example of a refund and returns policy that a digital freelance marketplace might use:
Digital Lancing Refund and Returns Policy
At Digital Lancing, we strive to ensure that our clients are satisfied with the services provided by our freelancers. However, in the event that a client is not satisfied, we have a refund and returns policy in place.
Refunds
If a client is not satisfied with the work provided by a freelancer, they can request a refund within [insert time frame, e.g. 14] days of the project completion date. The refund request must include a detailed explanation of why the client is not satisfied. Once the request is received, the Digital Lancing team will review the case and make a decision. If the refund is approved, the client will be refunded the amount paid for the project, minus a [insert percentage or fixed amount, e.g. 10% or $50] administrative fee.
Returns
Digital Lancing does not offer returns on services provided by freelancers. In some cases, the freelancer may agree to make revisions or corrections to the work provided in order to meet the client’s requirements.
Disputes
In the event of a dispute between a client and a freelancer, Digital Lancing has a dispute resolution process in place. Both parties will be asked to provide evidence and the Digital Lancing team will review the case and make a decision. If the dispute results in a refund or return, the refund or return policy outlined above will apply.
